2006 chevy trailblazer ac vents not working

An expert who has achieved level 1. An expert that has 1 follower. I have a 2006 chevy 3500 work van. I cant get the dash vents to work. The AC does co0me out of the floor vents. The blower works just fine. Do I need to replace the switch for the vent. Someone said it might be a vaccum probblem. If so how do I fix it.At my work we have Chevy astro vans ranging from 99-03 and all six had this same issue. We finally figured out that the 1/8th vacuum line from the manifold that feeds the hvac selector switch was broken. Once we fixed that line the problem was solved.
