The SS strips are chromed plated plastic. The Malibu versions are two pieces, an aluminum bezel with a thin steel insert with a woodgrain applique.Remember people, MALIBU is a trim level on a car known as a Chevelle. Chevelle indicates a Chevrolet "A" body or midsized vehicle. Malibu describes the level of trim option on that particular vehicle. Trim including, nicer tail lamps with argent silver highlights, roof and fender moldings, door trim moldings, etc. etc.These futuristic lamps offer 16 million+ solid color options and 300 multi-color effects.
