So I went to the dealer today and got the code (P1740) which my earlier attempts (Honda friend and AAMCO) didn't produce. So for $105 the dealer diagnosed the problem as a faulty 4th gear switch, just like all the forum members suggested.Several weeks ago the "Check Charging System" message popped up on the information display, along with a glowing "battery" light. The van always starts, the battery has never gone dead and all other electrical systems work as they should. Had battery Load Tested several times, by different places.A few days ago the D light started blinking and the check engine light came on. I g in idle it started again.
