Hi all, As the title suggests, I'm curious about the quality of life of a community Heme/Onc physician. I'm currently deciding between a hybrid community vs academic job. When I discuss the community job with attendings, they act like 4d/week in community is the end of the world and unsustainable.Anesthesia is okay lifestyle during residency and just okay after like 55-60 hrs a week and I think most groups are like 1 in 6 week call or something like that for an average salary. Similar amounts of a vacation but rads you can work from home which is a plus++.
