Check the Igniter: The clicking sound may be caused by a faulty igniter. Check the igniter for any signs of damage or corrosion. If the igniter is damaged, it will need to be replaced. 2. Check the Gas Valve: If the igniter is not the problem, the gas valve may be the cause of the clicking. Just hot enough to allow some current to open the gas valve slightly.
