A couple of days ago started displaying "service trailer brake system" on the DIC. When hooked up to a trailer all lights and turn signals work. Just no power to the trailer brakes. I've replaced the trailer brake control relay above the spare tire. I've replaced the 30a stud 2 square fuse (slot 58) as well as the 20a ...UPDATE: Previously the truck would NOT go into 4HI, Or 4LO. Today (in the morning) the Service ESC and Service Trailer Brake Controller messages vanished. In the morning the truck would NOT go into 4hi and 4lo. Afternoon I noticed the Service 4WD light went off. Stopped the truck, put it in neutral.If your message on the DIC says 'SERVICE TRAILER BRAKE SYSTEM' the problem is your truck, not your trailer. If you get a message that says "CHECK TRAILER WIRING" , that's the trailer problem. ...
